Flex Job Growth (Indeed.com showing 1500%)

That graph looks identical to the Flash Player 9 penetration graph. It even matches the time scale too. The Flex job market is white hot.

Thanks for the comment Ted, yes I was recently contacted by a head hunter having difficulty looking to fill a spot here in Central Florida and in conversation I mentioned that Flex is "white hot", though Central Florida is a bit of a quagmire when it comes to Adobe penetration (slow adopters). That is changing though.

I got Flex in the door at Kennedy Space Center and built a few enterprise scale apps. over a year ago. Leadership readily witnessed the benefits it provided and all was right with the world (something that can be a rarity in this industry).

Now that I am working with Universal Mind I have been able to take advantage of the skill set full time considering they are a premier provider for Flex talent. What a great ride!

@Jeff, You are right but I don't see more than
10 new flex developers posted at indeed.com daily. I see that
atleast 5 new CF developers are posted daily.

Good points, I am not 100% on the algorithm Indeed uses to compile their data, but I interpreted "percentage growth" rather literally. (historical etc.)

Flex has been around for quite awhile (specifically Flex 2.0 going on 1.5 years with beta included) and I would predict there is an average across the life of "Adobe Flex 2.0" as we know it and not "Macromedia Flex 1.5 or less".
